A Spain Travel Guide

Spain, Spain, Spain… You could say I’ve felt some sort of affinity for this country since middle school! Maybe elementary school because I’m pretty sure my Spanish teacher then spoke with a Spain-Spanish accent, and I loved the th sound. As I studied Spanish all the way to getting a BA in Hispanic Studies, I’ve always focused on Spain whether it was speaking with that accent or concentrating on it for my major.

I’ve been to the country three times now. Back in 2012, I studied abroad in Madrid and traveled all over the country. Then I returned in 2019 for a few days to Madrid and Segovia, and most recently I spent about three weeks in 2024 between Barcelona and Andalucía. If all goes to plan I’ll actually be back this year as well. Honestly, if I ever try to do a remote work visa again, I’ll probably go for Spain!
